Check this page if you are unsure whether fixtures are to go ahead as scheduled after 10.00am on Match Day.

All teams please be aware that wet weather fixtures are conditional and pending final inspections of the appointed grounds on Saturday morning. Please remember, the FINAL decision on whether a game proceeds is at the sole discretion of the match officials.

Both HCCF and Newcastle City Council have BounceBack SMS numbers in place, where updated wet weather information can be sourced.

 For 55 cents, you can SMS a code for an oval and receive a mobile phone message advising the status of the ground. To use this system, please SMS your particular code to 199BBSMS (19922767). Within seconds you will receive a return message containing the status of that ground.
